Kshitiz 2024- An Annual Inter College Event at GNA University
GNA University hosted an Inter College Competition – Kshitiz 2024 an annual event with an overall participation of 500 plus participation in the 131 events titled- Business Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Master Chef, Punjabi Folk, Photography, CAD Contest, CNC Simulator & Robotics Simulator, RJ Hunt, STEM Quiz, Waste to Wonder, Deliver a Skill under the benign presence of the Chief Guest, Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Chancellor, GNA University.
Jalandhar, April 10, 2024: GNA University hosted an Inter College Competition – Kshitiz 2024 an annual event with an overall participation of 500 plus participation in the 131 events titled- Business Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Master Chef, Punjabi Folk, Photography, CAD Contest, CNC Simulator & Robotics Simulator, RJ Hunt, STEM Quiz, Waste to Wonder, Deliver a Skill under the benign presence of the Chief Guest, Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Chancellor, GNA University.
The event was inaugurated with the blessings of the Chief Guest. He said, “GNA University is doing wonderful efforts. I am really delighted to witness the huge participation of the students across Punjab.” He even wished to have this Kshitiz 2024 a memorable annual event for all the participants in the years to come.
Dr. Disha Khanna as the Master of the Ceremony commenced the event by expressing her happiness upon seeing the unleashing of the budding talents in various events. She extended a warm welcome to all the participating colleges and wished them luck with a belief that all the teams would give a tough competition to one other.
Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, GNA University in his welcome address apprised the participants about the annual event by sharing its objective. He also said, “The University is always making sincere efforts in unleashing the hidden talent of students in various fields,”
Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Chancellor praised the tireless efforts of all the students who brought laurels to their colleges by winning the prizes. He urged the students to keep working hard with a positive outlook towards life.
The university congratulated and acknowledged the participation of all the participants with a “Certificate of Participation” to all and the accompanying teachers with a souvenir.
The first winners bagged the cash award of Rs 5100, second won Rs 3100 and the third team was honoured with Rs 2100 as the cash award along with the winning trophy and certificates and an overall prizes worth Rs 11000. The overall winning trophy was bagged by Mehrchand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar.
It was indeed an enriching experience for the audience thereby providing ample scope of learning and exploration of new ideas, facts and knowledge for the students. The competition was graced by the renowned judges from all over Punjab and all the Deans, Heads and staff of GNA University.
