While their love story is filled with many challenges, one of the major obstacles in their journey was Raghav’s ex-fiancee, Ayesha (Krissann Barretto). Raghav was already engaged to Ayesha when he fell in love with Pashminna and found himself at a crossroads where he had to choose between the two.
Krissann recently shared her experience while filming a particularly emotional scene in which her character Ayesha discovers the truth about Raghav and Pashminna's relationship. Reflecting on the moment, Krissann described it as both challenging and rewarding. Not only did she have the opportunity to portray intense emotions, but she also received applause from the entire set for her flawless performance, including Nishant, who wasn't even part of the scene.
Krissann Barretto, who plays the role of Ayesha, said, “Portraying Ayesha's journey was emotionally challenging. As a character transitioning from being Raghav's best friend and fiancé to realizing he loves someone else was heartbreaking. I genuinely empathized with Ayesha's pain, and it was difficult to convey those emotions authentically on screen. The scene where Ayesha discovers the truth was truly memorable as I poured my heart and soul into it. Surprisingly, even Nishant, who wasn't directly involved in the scene, was moved to tears by my performance. Witnessing the entire cast and crew emotionally invested in the scene was incredibly touching, and when I finished, everyone on set applauded, making it one of the best days for me on set.”
