Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Hailing from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, Rani Komal Jain has set a remarkable example by founding Smars Jewelry, a premium gold-look jewellery brand. After studying jewellery design and earning a Gemology qualification from GIA Mumbai, she realized that genuine gold jewellery often remains locked away in bank lockers due to its high cost and security concerns.
Driven by this insight, she launched Smars Jewelry in December 2022, offering premium brass jewellery with 22-karat gold micron plating at affordable prices. In just three and a half years, the company has achieved over 100% year-on-year growth and earned the trust of more than 300,000 women across India.
