KMV’s softball team bags champion position in Inter-college Softball Championship organised by GNDU

Jalandhar, March 19, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always excel in sports activities along with the academics. In an another major achievement, KMV softball team bagged champion position in the Inter-College Softball Championship organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
KMV’s team defeated the team of GNDU campus by 7-0, Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar team by 13-0 and BBKDAV College, Amritsar team by 8-1.
It is pertinent to mention that nine students namely Khushdeep, Harshita, Nikita, Kavita, Navdeep, Anubeer, Devanshi, Neha Nagita and Ravina from this team have also been selected for the All India Inter-University Softball Championship camp.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the team players & averred that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities. They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes.
Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi also adumbrated that KMV will continue to provide these facilities to the students who continue to prove their mettle in sports arena. She also lauded the efforts of Dr Davinder, Manpreet Kaur and Coach Philip Chouhan for this brilliant achievement.
