Jalandhar, May 31, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has added another glorious chapter to its athletic legacy as its stellar softball players Navdeep Kaur, Anubeer Kaur, and Sharanjit Kaur clinched the coveted Gold Medal at the 16th North Zone Softball Championship held recently at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Representing their state with immense grit and tactical acumen, the trio proved instrumental in steering their team to a top-podium finish. This triumph highlights KMV's dominance on the sporting field, following a stellar competitive run that includes high-profile representations at various senior national and inter-university circuits. The phenomenal success of these athletes is heavily credited to the rigorous training regimens, strategic mentorship, and constant guidance provided by their dedicated support staff at KMV. Congratulating the champions, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such monumental success is a testament to both the athletes' absolute dedication and KMV’s deep-rooted sports culture. She adumbrated that the institution remains steadfastly committed to encouraging young women to excel in sports alongside their academics by offering an unmatched, completely free support ecosystem.
