KMV’s new students acquainted about rich history and heritage of KMV during guided tours

Jalandhar, July 30, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised guided tours for the new entrants. This programme was organised by Department of Student Welfare. It was designed for acquainting the new entrants with the rich legacy of KMV and the various innovative student-oriented programs run by this glorious institution of higher education. New students were taken around the college in small groups and they were ably guided by the student representatives of student council during the college tour. During the tour, students were acquainted about the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the initiatives taken by this heritage institution for creating global citizens. Students were shown the Hall of Fame of KMV. They were also given a tour of different highly equipped laboratories, departments, KMV hostel, heritage building of KMV, world class library, health club, gymnasium, auditorium, playgrounds & botanical garden etc. 

Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi blessed the new students & gave them best wishes on the commencement of the new session.  She exhorted them to avail the full benefit of the world class facilities available at KMV.  She maintained that the outstanding results and the well placed alumni of KMV throws ample light on the fact that at KMV quality education meets global standards. She lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare for successfully organising the guided tours.
