KMV’s NCC cadets excel at Military Attachment Camp

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NCC cadets brought laurels to KMV by attending Military Attachment Camp for 12 days at Jalandhar Cantt. The Military Attachment Camp was conducted at Military Hospital Jalandhar Cantt. These camps are conducted by the NCC in collaboration with the Indian Army.

Jalandhar, December 13, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NCC cadets brought laurels to KMV by attending Military Attachment Camp for 12 days at Jalandhar Cantt. The Military Attachment Camp was conducted at Military Hospital Jalandhar Cantt. These camps are conducted by the NCC in collaboration with the Indian Army.

For the cadets it was life time experience, where they lived the routine of army cadets for the tenure of the camp. During the camp cadets were exposed to medical knowledge and training by the Indian Army. Moreover, various lectures were also conducted by Army officers. In this camp 25 cadets got a chance to attend the Army rally where 3 cadets LCPL Geetika Sharma, LCPL Shazia and LCPL Samriti were from KMV. 

Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such trainings are a vital part of holistic education of the students. She lauded the efforts of Department of NCC for providing such opportunities & for working zealously to come up with a variety of opportunities and activities so that girls can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation. Commanding officer 2 Pb. (G) Bn.NCC Jalandhar Col. Maninder Singh Sachdeva congratulated the cadets for their excellent performance in the training camp.
