KMV’s Job Readiness Program successfully helps in providing excellent placements to the students

Jalandhar, December 9, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is fully committed to the all-round development of the students with the combination of tradition and modernity, along with creating identity as the center of women's education in the entire North India. With its objective of providing skills to the students for various employment opportunities, KMV is successfully running the Job Readiness Program, a must-have and highly beneficial program for the students of Semester V at under graduate level. This program aims to prepare the students for various placement drives conducted in the campus by various top multinational companies. Under this program, training is provided to the students through various modules such as organisational structure, public speaking, presentation skills, group discussion & personal interview etc. required in the corporate working environment, moreover, the students are not only explained about setting their goals and achieving them but, it is also taught to them the proper use of pictures, charts, diagrams and titles to effectively present the presentations. Apart from this, information about applying SWOT analysis based on criteria like self-confidence, career development, handling of mental and physical health in the work area, etc., moreover, techniques for resume writing, telephone etiquettes, email etiquettes, corporate jargons, group discussions, etc. are also provided to the students along with providing information about appearance, body language, communication and delivery for the interview that students need to have during the interview. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi  averred that these kind of programs are a regular feature at KMV as we always strive to impart practical skills to the students so that the students can excel in this competitive world.  She lauded the efforts of Dean Placement Cell, Suman Khurana for providing this wonderful opportunity to the students and also motivated the students to learn every aspect of the program diligently.
