KMV’s Jasmine Parmar gets selected to join Wyss Institute for Biologically inspired Engineering at Harvard University

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) student Jasmine Parmar from Bio-Technology Department has been selected to join the Wyss Institute for Biologically inspired Engineering at Harvard University under the Khorana Programme for Scholars initiative of Government of India. Selected under this prestigious program, Jasmine will get an opportunity to get research exposure at leading U.S. universities over summer 2024 for a period of 10-12 weeks and will also get exposure to world class scientific research facilities.

Jalandhar, March 11, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) student Jasmine Parmar from Bio-Technology Department has been selected to join the Wyss Institute for Biologically inspired Engineering at Harvard University under the Khorana Programme for Scholars initiative of Government of India. Selected under this prestigious program, Jasmine will get an opportunity to get research exposure at leading U.S. universities over summer 2024 for a period of 10-12 weeks and will also get exposure to world class scientific research facilities.

Her selection reflects the international recognition of KMV’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for success on the global stage. We also have international partnerships with Chatham University, USA and over the years the students have availed from many beneficial programs. The faculty from Boston University regularly interacts with our students. Our students had also been selected to attend Summer Internship Programs at Boston University. It is by dint of these international programs that KMVites have got admission in foreign universities like Boston University,USA all because of the global exposure gained by them through the exceptional international programs run by KMV.
