Jalandhar, October 3, 2015: KMVites returned from Chatham University, Pittsburgh USA after a ten-day trip to the United States of America. This was the second group of students visiting Chatham University, Pittsburgh, USA as a part of the tie-up that exists between KMV and Chatham University. The students Vineka, Sakshi, Harkomal, Simran, Kiran and Harkamalpreet were accompanied by a teacher Dr. Gopi Sharma, Dept. of Physics had a very eventful educative and entertaining time. They experienced campus life and attended classes and programmes exclusively designed for them. The course attended by the students was a certificate course. The students had an interactive time as social interactions were specially arranged for KMVites with the students of Chatham University and also their mentors. Cultural programmes were arranged for them. They also went for sightseeing. The highlights of the visit is that these students can get further education at Chatham with their credits transferred   and without have taken TOFEL, IELTS and JRE exams. The US University has offered huge scholarships to KMV students. This would indeed provide a golden opportunity to the KMVites at receive education to US University. Dr. Gopi Sharma attended various meetings with DR. Chris Musick, Dean International Relations to chalk out further programmes for more collaborative  ventures including admission of students, bilateral exchange of joint events. Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV congratulated the students for their achievements. The students felt beholden to Madam Principal for providing them with this opportunity which has given them international exposure and an opportunity to carve a niche for themselves in global arena. Dr. Atima Shrama informed that KMV students will continue to get admission in Chatham University, USA with their credits of first year transferred to that University.
