Jalandhar, November 6, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has always been committed to the holistic development of its students. Along with academic excellence, the institution continuously strives to inculcate entrepreneurial, innovative, and professional skills among learners.

Continuing this tradition, the PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized Commerce Mela 2025 – A Students’ Endeavour. The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who inspired the students with her motivating words. She emphasized that the mela provided students with a dynamic platform to display their entrepreneurial abilities and innovative business ideas. The initiative, she noted, would help participants face real-world business challenges such as pricing, marketing, and customer relationship management.

Students participated with great enthusiasm and energy. A lively dance performance added vibrancy to the event, while students set up numerous stalls offering a diverse range of eatables and handmade artifacts. The food stalls featured popular delicacies such as Pav Bhaji, Spring Rolls, Dahi Golgappas, Pani Puri, Beverages, Chinese Samosas, Crispy Chaat, Tikkis, Stuffed Kulchas, and Momos, which received an overwhelming response from staff and students alike.

The artifacts stall showcased an impressive collection of handmade items, highlighting the artistic talent and craftsmanship of the students.

Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neeraj Maini and the faculty members for organizing such an event that nurtures entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and financial independence among students.
