KMVites promote a Green and Clean Diwali through a Mega Event

Jalandhar, October 14, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in its continuous efforts to promote environmental awareness organised a Mega Event under the theme “Green and Clean Diwali and Sustainability.”
The event aimed to encourage students and the community to embrace eco-friendly practices while celebrating the festival of lights. The mega event was organised by the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications. A total of ten events were organised comprising technical, innovative and artistic ideas showcasing the creativity of its students. Various events – Artistry in Colours, ArtByte, Logo Gen X, Glow Gen – Swachh Bharat, Cloud Pitch – Idea of new startup based on SaaS Model, Bug Busters, Pixel Plate, AdVibe, Dress-up Fiesta & Beat Fusion. All the events witnessed an overwhelming participation by all the students.
Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi urged all to celebrate Diwali with peace, love and environmental consciousness. She appreciated the students having used sustainable materials and e-waste materials to give new creative ideas and advised that our true celebration lies in protecting our planet. She also motivated students to achieve great heights but not to depend on AI solely for various tasks. She advised the students to initiate their own ideas and creations and only take assistance from AI.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Suman Khurana and Dr Pardeep Arora for successfully organising the mega event with a clear message of sustainability.
