KMVites present their talent in Makeup and Face Painting competition during Halloween Day celebrations 

Jalandhar, November 5, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated the Halloween festival with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebrations were organised jointly by Post Graduate Department of Cosmetology and Post Graduate Department of Fashion Designing. The fashion designing department celebrated this day where the students wore black clothes and also participated in the face painting competition. Yogita won the first place in this competition, Priya and Jasdeep were chosen for the second place while Sarika, Rupinder Kaur and Sunidhi were chosen for the third place. Consolation prizes were awarded to Manpreet Kaur, Manmeet Kaur and Chandna. On this occasion, a special makeup competition was organised by the Department of Cosmetology. The students of B. Voc. (Beauty and Wellness) Semester 1 and 3 presented various characters through make-up and showcased their artistic sophistication in a very elegant manner. In this competition, Nisha Rani won the first place, Jaskiran the second place and Keerthy the third place. Apart from this, Jasmin Bassi and Chetna were given consolation prizes. 

It is worth mentioning that certificates were also awarded to the students who participated in the competition. 

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulating the students averred that such events instil self-confidence in the students and also provide them with an excellent platform to present their talent while providing them with an understanding of the subject. She lauded the efforts of PG Department of Cosmetology and the PG Department of Fashion Designing for successfully organising the celebrations.
