KMVites participate in 10th IAPT National Student Symposium in Physics (IAPT-NSSP) held at Punjab University

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always focuses on the inculcation of research aptitude amongst the students. Under this umbrella four students of undergraduate and post graduate of PG Department of Physics participated in the 10th IAPT National Student Symposium in Physics (IAPT-NSSP) which was held at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Students from all over India participated in the symposium and presented their research work in the form of oral presentations and posters in front of dignitaries and scientists.

Jalandhar, November 21, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always focuses on the inculcation of research aptitude amongst the students. Under this umbrella four students of undergraduate and post graduate of PG Department of Physics participated in the 10th IAPT National Student Symposium in Physics (IAPT-NSSP) which was held at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Students from all over India participated in the symposium and presented their research work in the form of oral presentations and posters in front of dignitaries and scientists. 

The inauguration of this event was done by Prof. PK Ahluwalia, President IAPT, Prof. Arvind, Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. C.N. Kumar and various other dignified personalities. By participating in events like this the students discover their own creative talents and think outside the box. The idea behind motivating undergraduate students to participate is to boost the creative minds of our budding innovators and at the same time making them ready for taking research as their future prospective. The symposium fostered students' scientific spirit and curiosity, encouraging them to make their carrier in research as the students enjoyed learning through this symposium and felt a connection to basic sciences. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that by participating in such events students gain confidence to showcase their talents and learn from other talented competitors of other institutes. She lauded the students for their excellent performance in the symposium and also appreciated the efforts of PG Department of Physics for motivating and mentoring the students efficiently.
