Jalandhar, November 14, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) took a significant step towards promoting digital safety by organising an awareness programme on Cyber Hygiene for its students. The initiative aimed to educate young learners about safe online practices, responsible digital behaviour, and ways to protect themselves from cyber threats.
As part of the programme, IT faculty members delivered an insightful talk covering essential topics such as secure password creation, identifying online scams, protecting personal data, and maintaining proper digital etiquette. The session encouraged students to stay vigilant and practise safe browsing to safeguard their online presence.
Adding a creative touch, IT students designed a range of handmade posters visually depicting key cyber hygiene principles, including cyberbullying prevention, phishing awareness, and safe social media usage. Their artwork not only showcased creativity but also reinforced the importance of responsible digital habits.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi stated that the awareness programme effectively engaged students and strengthened their understanding of cyber safety. She added that KMV remains committed to holistic education by preparing students for a safer and more informed digital future.
