KMVites give message of water conservation on world water day

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine organised an online poster making competition to celebrate World Water Day in order to spread awareness about water conservation. The event was organised by the Department of Environment Science. KMV’s Water Warriors Team  participated in the event to showcase their creativity. The students emphasised on saving water in regular use and also apprised people about the ways to save water. Students made posters and slogans of Save Water to inculcate values of water conservation among people. The role of water warriors is spreading awareness about the importance of water conservation, ensuring that clean drinking water reaches the needy, checking any leakage on the taps in the campus and at homes etc. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV gives utmost priority to environment conservation as we always motivate the students to spread the awareness regarding this cause in the society so that the younger generation could feel its responsibility. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Sadhna Tandon & Ms Sufalica for organising the event.
