KMVites bag gold medal in Punjab State Taekwondo Championship

Jalandhar, November 5, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s Taekwondo players have exhibited immense excellence by winning gold medal in Punjab State Taekwondo Championship 2019 held at Ferozepur, Punjab.
Pinki bagged gold medal in the 49 kg(senior) category, Amarjot Kaur, Malkeet Kaur bagged silver medal in 58 kg(junior) & 49 kg(junior) category, whereas Jaswinder Kaur & Simranjeet Kaur won silver medal in 62 kg(senior) & 51 kg(senior) category and Karandeep Kaur & Taniapreet Kaur bagged bronze medal in 62 kg(senior) category respectively.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the victorious champs and the sports faculty comprising Mrs. Ashoo Bajaj & Dr. Davinder. She averred that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities. They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes as the glorious success in this Championship. She wished all the Champions a very bright and brilliant future and also averred that KMV will continue to support them in all their upcoming ventures.
