KMVites Attend Two Weeks Industrial Training at Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology
Jalandhar, July 6, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar always encourage its students to acquaint themselves with the professional and industrial exposure. Keeping with the trend, seven students of KMV attended two weeks industrial training at Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Amritsar under DBT Star College Scheme. Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology is a premier national institution under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India fully devoted to Skill Development, Technology Support Services, Academic and Research (STAR) in all the domains of plastics. During the training, students were provided various vocational training and skill development programs in the areas of Design/Tooling/CAD/CAM/CNC Program, Product Development/ Processing of Plastics/ Machine Maintenance, Testing and Quality Improvement, Welding & Fabrication, Electrical/Electronics/Hardware, Industrial Automation & Maintenance & Information & Communication Technology. It is important to mention that these Skill Development Programmes conducted at CIPET Centres are National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) aligned and approved by National Skills Qualifications Committee (NSQC). Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such exposure to the students will go in long way in developing the scientific and research temper in them which will be a guiding force for their all future endeavours.
