Leading the stellar international achievements, Jasmine Parmar from the Bio-Technology Department has been selected to join the prestigious Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University under the Khorana Programme for Scholars initiative of the Government of India, securing an outstanding package of ₹70 lakhs per annum. This elite program will grant her an invaluable opportunity to gain advanced research exposure at leading universities in the United States. In another remarkable academic feat, Vajinder Kaur, a student of the PG Department of Mathematics, has secured admission into the Master of Science in Statistical Practice program at Boston University, USA. In recognition of her brilliant academic potential, she has been awarded a prestigious 45% merit tuition fee waiver scholarship by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The institution's streak of global success continues across its science and professional departments. Lavleen Saini, an outstanding student of M.Sc. Physics, has clinched a prestigious placement at Rutgers University, USA, where she will be joining the Department of Materials Science & Engineering as a Graduate Assistant with a lucrative package of ₹40 lakhs per annum. Additionally, students from KMV's Hospitality & Tourism program have demonstrated exemplary practical skills on the global stage. Saloni, Divya Bhadran, Harita Jaidka, Gurpreet Kaur, and Gurleen Kaur have secured coveted placements at esteemed international establishments, including the Hyatt Hotel in Boston and Loews Hotel in Arlington, Texas, USA, commanding impressive packages of ₹37.5 lakhs per annum. Adding another significant milestone in the hospitality sector during an on-campus placement drive, Doyal Bhagat, a Semester VI student of B.Voc. Hospitality and Tourism, has earned a highly competitive international placement in Gouvieux, France, at the Hostellerie du Pavillon Saint-Hubert. Her role offers an attractive package of ₹18 lakhs per annum, inclusive of free food and accommodation, along with double wages for overtime. This remarkable achievement highlights the efficacy of KMV’s industry-oriented curriculum in preparing young professionals for dynamic global careers in hotels, resorts, and the broader tourism sector. On the domestic front, the PG Department of Retail Management has once again showcased its excellence through exceptional placements and internships for its B.Voc. and M.Voc. students. Prominent students from the department, including Anshita, Amandeep, Ria, Satinder, and Anju, have been successfully placed in world-renowned national and international retail brands such as Levi’s, Vero Moda, Rare Rabbit, and Adidas. Moreover, a biotechnology student has also secured an outstanding placement in IndiGo airlines as Airport Operations Officer. This accomplishment reflects the high-quality, skill-based vocational education provided at KMV, which seamlessly blends academic rigor with practical exposure to make students thoroughly industry-ready.
