KMV- the first NEP SAARTHI institution of Punjab organises a Debate & Poster making competition to spread awareness about NEP 2020
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) under the aegis of the SAARTHI Committee, organised a Debate Competition and Poster Making Competition to spread awareness about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 among students.

Jalandhar, September 26, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) under the aegis of the SAARTHI Committee, organised a Debate Competition and Poster Making Competition to spread awareness about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 among students.
The events aimed at sensitising young learners about the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and its emphasis on holistic, multidisciplinary, and skill-based education. Students enthusiastically participated, voicing their views on various aspects of the policy including flexible curriculum design, promotion of regional languages, vocational training, and integration of technology in education. The Poster Making Competition provided a creative platform for participants to showcase their artistic expressions and highlight the progressive reforms envisioned by NEP 2020. Vibrant posters depicted themes of innovation, inclusivity, and the future roadmap of education in India.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the SAARTHI Committee and lauded the students’ engagement in meaningful discussions on educational reforms. She highlighted that KMV, being a frontrunner in implementing NEP 2020, continuously provides such opportunities to students to enhance their awareness and critical thinking. The competitions not only fostered intellectual dialogue but also encouraged students to become active contributors in building an enlightened academic ecosystem aligned with the vision of NEP 2020. She lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Dr Iqbal Singh & Dr Monica for this initiative.
