KMV sweeps top position in Zonal Youth Festival

Jalandhar, November 17, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) again proved its excellence by bagging first position in Quiz & Phulkari competition in Zonal Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Like every year this year too the students displayed their talent and bagged various positions in different competitions in the youth festival. Quiz team comprising of Anchal Sharma, Shruti Kalia and Namita performed brilliantly in both the rounds of quiz, while the Phulkari prepared by Ravita Rani, B.Sc. Home Science Semester I also outshined others during the competition. It is pertinent to mention that since the inception of Phulkari competition at the youth festival, KMV has been bagging top position in it. 

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the students and the sheer talent they possess while emphasising the significant role played by such festivals in honing the talents of the students. She also wished all the winners best of luck for their future competitions as now both of these items has been qualified for inter-zonal youth festival also. She congratulated Dr. Gurjot, Dean, ECA, Dr Harpreet, Sehajpal Singh and Kumar Sambhav for their whole hearted and committed dedication towards the preparation of items and hoped they will continue their winning streak in the future also.
