KMV successfully organises The Quest-24- Inter-College competition

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been constantly working for the overall development of their students. With this objective, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences organised Inter College competition titled The Quest-24. This competition witnessed a huge participation from the students from various universities and colleges as there was an overwhelming response witnessing participants from 15 universities and colleges from Punjab.

Jalandhar, April 9, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been constantly working for the overall development of their students. With this objective, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences organised Inter College competition titled The Quest-24. This competition witnessed a huge participation from the students from various universities and colleges as there was an overwhelming response witnessing participants from 15 universities and colleges from Punjab. 

The event witnessed total seven events namely Quiz, Elocution, Salad Making, Solo Dance(Western/Folk), Rangoli, Photography and Poster Making competition  

The chief guest for the event was Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Addressing the gathering, she averred that KMV is an exemplary institution that is providing best quality education to its students. She also inspired students to follow their dreams and to work hard with full dedication. She further maintained that such events provide a good platform to the students to display their creativity and talent besides getting practical exposure as KMV from time to time keeps on organising such competitions in order to instil a spirit of healthy competition in the students. The topic for elocution was AI: The New Tomorrow and Social Media and its Impact on Youth. Students also made beautiful rangolis based on the theme of Eco Friendly. During the quiz competition, all the teams gave a tough fight to each other in the six rounds conducted during the final round. For the photography and poster making event, on the spot theme was provided to the students in order to judge the creative prowess of the participants. 

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Gurjot, Head, Department of History and all the other  members of the organising committee for their efficient team work and the flawless coordination of events. The overall trophy was bagged by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Jalandhar, 1st Runner up trophy was bagged by Doaba College, Jalandhar & Second Runner up trophy was bagged by Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala.
