KMV successfully organises hostel night

Jalandhar, May 9, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised Hostel Night, a colourful program organised annually for the hostel students. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi was the chief guest for the event. Addressing the students with her inspirational words, she described hard work as a strong basis for success. She further maintained that the work done with determination and dedication definitely proves helpful in moving towards the achievement of the goal in life. In this program which started with Ganesh Vandana by the hostel student Muskaan, the students enthralled everyone with various presentations. While the solo dance of student Harleen was welcomed with applause by all, along with the songs sung by various students and the sensuous performances on the ramp during Modelling won everyone's heart. Along with this, solo dance was performed by Nimanshi and group and Jaswinder. In the packed auditorium, the performance of Himachali dance Naati and Giddha of Punjab mesmerised everyone. It is worth mentioning that during the weekly online soft skill training workshop for the hostel students, the students who received surprise reward were also felicitated by Madam Principal out of which Ankita Thakur won Best Tell Me About Yourself Award, Shirin for Best Interview Dress, Sakshi Rana for Consistent Performance, Radhika for Most Improved Performer and Aakriti Kaur Gill and Anjali for Student Ambassador. Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare, Dr. Gurjot, Dean, ECA, Dr. Monika Sharma, Director, Gandhian Studies Centre, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean, Resident Life, Ms. Geetika, Hostel Warden Mrs. Paramjit and Mrs. Balwinder as well as members of the hostel staff were also present. Student Akanksha and Sheetal took the responsibility of conducting the stage during the event.
