KMV successfully organises free of cost Summer Camp on Spoken English

Jalandhar, July 4, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised free of cost summer camp on Spoken English. The summer camp was organised by PG Department of English. This course has received the participation of 60  students from all streams. During the classes students were taught in different modules and the modules were focused on basic grammar concepts, sentence formation, conversational skills, vocabulary building, interview skills & public speaking. The participants were also taught basic English sentence patterns & were also given tips to improve their vocabulary during the course of these classes.The students were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their communication skills which is the need of the hour in today’s competitive world. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that it is a very refreshing program amidst summer break of the students as they can utilise their time as well energy in a productive manner. She further maintained that these types of courses help in the overall development of the personality of the students. She also emphasised on the fact that success in one’s life depends upon the communication skills so that one can express himself in a good way. She lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet (Head, PG Department of English and Dean, Department of Student Welfare) & all the resource persons for the classes and also motivated them for such future endeavours.
