KMV students shine in Chemistry Project exhibition and BioExpo in Utkansh-25 at NIT Jalandhar by showcasing innovative environmental models

Jalandhar, May 3, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students from the PG Department of Chemistry brought laurels to their institution in Inter-college competition Utkansh-25 organized by NIT Jalandhar. Saniya, student of B.Sc Medical Semester VI won the first prize in BioExpo and second prize in Chemistry Project exhibition. Saniya was awarded the certificate, along with a cash award of ₹4000/- in both events, in recognition of her creativity, scientific understanding, and impactful presentation. The event saw participation from various colleges & universities, with students showcasing innovative projects addressing key environmental issues. It is pertinent to mention that KMV team impressed the judges and audience alike with their working models on waste management and acid rain mitigation. Their models demonstrated practical, sustainable solutions aimed at tackling real-world environmental challenges, reflecting both technical expertise and a strong sense of social responsibility. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their outstanding achievement and encouraged them to continue contributing towards environmental sustainability through innovation and research.
