KMV Student Shines at Punjab State Shooting Championship, Qualifies for Pre-Nationals

Jalandhar, November 5, 2025: In a proud achievement for Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), Vinakshi Choudhary, a talented MA (JMC) student, brought laurels to the institution with her remarkable performance at the 60th Punjab State NR Shooting Championship 2025, held at the Shooting Range, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Representing the District Rifle Shooting Association, Jalandhar, Vinakshi participated in the 10 Metre Rifle (NR) Championship Women (Individual) category, where she secured the 11th position among 38 participants with an impressive score of 384 points. She also competed in the 10 Metre Rifle (NR) Championship Women (Team) event, where her team achieved the 9th position overall.

Her excellent performance at the state level has earned her qualification for the Pre-National Shooting Championship, marking a significant milestone in her sporting journey.

Expressing her joy, Vinakshi said, “It was a great honour to represent my college and district. Qualifying for the Pre-Nationals has motivated me to work even harder to achieve excellence at higher levels.”
