KMV Ranked First College in India in Various Categories in Prestigious India Today Ranking

Jalandhar, May 24, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar has been ranked First among the colleges of India in various categories by India Today. Throwing light on this singular achievement, Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that being the first & only women college to be bestowed autonomous status KMV has entered the higher league of colleges and has also introduced many reforms in education. KMV has added another feather in its highly embellished cap by laying claim to top National ranking in courses like BCA, Fashion Designing, BBA et al. From the 39000 colleges under UGC, 1207 colleges were invited in the ranking survey by India Today which according to the Editor-in-Chief himself is "our biggest sample size so far''. The college is ranked First in India in Best Value For Money in Fashion Designing, First College in Best Value for Money in BCA, First Nationally in Lowest Tuition Fee for Fashion Designing as well as also ranked First Nationally in Lowest Tuition Fee For BCA, Second Nationally in Lowest Tuition Fee for BBA and Second Nationally in Best Value for Money for BBA. BCA program is included in top 20 in India in the Top College Category and is 1st in the whole of Punjab. In Fashion Designing KMV is among top 30 Best Colleges of India. In Commerce KMV is in the top 75 colleges and in Arts and Science it is included in top 120 colleges of India.
Professor Atima Sharma Dwivedi further maintained that such top rankings bear testimony to the fact that KMV is the brand name of Quality education. The syllabi of all courses has been upgraded with 21st century skills. New Age innovative job-oriented programs with focus on skill development and effective international programs with option to study in foreign universities after one or two years of study at KMV. With a commitment to meaningful futures KMV prepares the students for life skills with programs like Foundation Course, Moral Education, Personality Development, Social Outreach, Gender Sensitization, Self Defence, Reasoning & Mental Abilities. These value- added programs are compulsory for all the students in different semesters and their grades are included in Detail Mark Cards.
