KMV Radio VOW touches horizons with its 500th program 

Jalandhar: In continuation of the efforts, the online radio channel ‘VOW’ (Voice of Women) of KMV (Kanya Maha Vidyalaya)
has reached its landmark 500th episode.     
At this juncture, Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the whole team of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication along with the students who have played a pivotal role in dealing with various youth issues through the very popular on-line medium. She averred that  online media is the best way of connecting with the youth who have a great craze for this medium. She further maintained that Radio VOW has been actively and relevantly touching upon various social, economic and cultural topics & maintained that VOW which stands for Voice of Women has given much space to the woman issues. The best thing about VOW Radio is that the students  prepare the content, the students are the RJs and they present the programme. It is important to mention that the PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication of KMV is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art video & audio studios with latest video & audio equipments such as DSLR cameras, video cameras, editing suite, audio console etc. for the practical exposure of the students. /Rajat Kumar
