KMV organizes talk on Future career aspects in Indian Defence Services by Major General Dr. G.G Dwivedi

Jalandhar, February 21, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NCC Department organized a talk on Future career aspects in Indian Defence Services. Major General Dr. G.G Dwivedi, retd. Professor and a Specialist in International Relations, Management Studies was invited by the KMV NCC unit to throw light on ‘Future Career Aspects in Indian Defense Services’. 

The talk by Dr. G.G. Dwivedi focused on career options after senior secondary and graduation level. He acquainted everyone about the various entry schemes to join army through NDA written examination, SSB, Tech, law, Medical, NCC direct entry, CDS written examination and AFCAT. The main highlight of the whole talk was about how to find your passion and realize it in the form of profession. Quoting examples about how great personalities accidentally came across their passion while pursuing a different profession, he suggested to follow the path where you can peak your potential. Saying the India was set to be future super power of the coming era, he suggested that the youth should realize their potential in India. The talk concluded with a fruitful and long question answer session/ interaction with the cadets. The cadets thanked the resource person and said that such fruitful interaction will go a long way in determining the future of young India. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended her gratitude towards Major General Dwivedi and lauded the efforts of NCC department for successfully organizing the talk.
