KMV organizes one day workshop on tips to crack IAS and other competitive exams in first attempt

Jalandhar, October 26, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been striving tirelessly for the holistic growth of students. The college has a sustained record of excellence in placements due to the untiring and ceaseless efforts by the Faculty of Centre for Competitive Exams. The Centre for Competitive Exams under the aegis of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya aims at providing the best Coaching to its young Civil Service Exams aspirants. Keeping with this trend, a one day workshop was organized on Tips to Crack IAS and other Competitive Exams in the First Attempt. The resource person for the workshop was Dr.Madhur M. Mahajan, PG Department of Economics, GGDSD College, Chandigarh, a UPSC Coach and a motivational speaker. The workshop was organized for the students of semester III and V of under graduate and Semester I and III of Post Graduate classes. The workshop was attended by  more than 400 students.

The workshop began with a welcome address by Principal Prof (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. She emphasized on the importance of women empowerment and financial independence. She highlighted the importance of e, determination, perseverance and diligence for cracking any competitive exam. Dr. Mahajan inspired the students to set goals and have a strong will power for achieving the same. He  shared some real life inspirational stories of many IAS officers to motivate the students. Dr. Mahajan discussed about various job opportunities and patterns of various prestigious exams like IAS, PCS, Defence, IES, UGC-NET etc. The students were also provided with various tips for cracking these competitive exams and were encouraged to start their preparations and stay motivated as well as disciplined to succeed in life.

The workshop ended with a healthy discussion and the queries of the participants were addressed very aptly by Dr. Mahajan. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, lauded the efforts of the Centre for Competitive Exams and congratulated the team members Dr. Sabina, Dr. Pardeep, Dr. Archana, Dr Iqbal and Parachi for organizing the event successfully.
