KMV organizes annual blood donation camp

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organized a Blood Donation Camp on the campus. This Camp was organized by the joint efforts of the KMV Red Ribbon Club under the aegis of Student Welfare Department, the NSS Unit of KMV. 

This camp was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The medical team consisting of Dr. Gagandeep Singh, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar graced the occasion. The students volunteered to donate blood in large number with full zeal & enthusiasm. It was heartening to see the new generation respond positively to this benign social activity. 

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that it gave her great happiness and satisfaction that the activity of the day was going to save many precious human lives. She further maintained that this blood donation camp is an annual feature here at KMV and many students are anxious to contribute to this noble cause. 

Principal also lauded the efforts of the donors and the organizers of the camp Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare, Mrs. Sadhna Tandon and Mrs. Manju Sahni.
