KMV organizes Alumni Speaks- A series of inspirational talks

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has always been making efforts for the holistic development of its students. In keeping with this tradition, P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration organised an Interactive Session Alumni Speaks for the students of B.Com (Hons.) Sem. IV, B.Com (Pass and Hons.) Sem. IV, B.Com (Pass and Hons.) Sem. VI, BBA Sem. II and M.Com Sem IV.

Jalandhar, April 2, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has always been making efforts for the holistic development of its students. In keeping with this tradition, P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration organised an Interactive Session Alumni Speaks for the students of B.Com (Hons.) Sem. IV, B.Com (Pass and Hons.) Sem. IV, B.Com (Pass and Hons.) Sem. VI, BBA Sem. II and M.Com Sem IV. 

The resource person for the session was CA Shaina, an Alumnae of our college. She completed her graduation and post graduation from KMV and after serving her Alma mater for one year, she started her journey of Chartered Accountancy. During the talk, she guided the students about various opportunities and avenues available after graduation and post graduation in commerce & also discussed her CA journey and inspired students to give quality time to their education. She further highlighted the importance and invaluable contribution of this institution in her academic endeavors. She gave an in depth knowledge regarding the procedure, time and efforts required for the preparation of CA exams. She also guided the students to become financially independent and addressed the queries of all the participants very aptly. She was an inspiration for the students that qualification can be upgraded at any stage of our lives. 

This seminar was attended by more than 150 students. 

The seminar was very interactive and indeed a great learning experience for all the participants. 

Principal Prof Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her gratitude for the resource person and lauded the efforts of Dr. Neeraj Maini and all the faculty members of PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration for taking initiatives to make the students abreast of various career options available to them after their graduation and post graduation in Commerce.
