KMV organises webinar on immunity and adult immunization

Jalandhar: In another initiative, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) organised a Webinar with Dr SPS Grover, Senior Physician and Managing Director of New Ruby Hospital Jalandhar on Immunity & Adult Immunisation. 
The webinar was organised by the Department of Home Science in order to spread the awareness regarding COVID-19, its spread and how to develop immunity against it. During the webinar, Dr Grover accurately explained what coronavirus is and what its origin is. He also stressed upon the role of diet, exercise and hygiene to build up the immunity against the virus. He also vividly explained the process of adult immunisation and vaccination about which most of the people are not properly aware & moreover, what precautions should a person take in order to prevent this disease. He elaborated on the fact that the development of the vaccine for the treatment of COVID-19 will take some more time as it needs to be clinically tested before it reaches to the masses. During the conclusion, Dr Grover suggested that everybody should take care of their health, should follow the guidelines issued by the government on social distancing & should follow a healthy lifestyle in order to develop immunity against this virus. 
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this webinar will prove to be very informative for all as it will clear various doubts surrounding the immunity & future prospect of vaccine against the COVID-19. Madam Principal extended her gratitude to Dr Grover for sparing his valuable time for this webinar & averred that KMV will continue to organise such webinars in future also so that people can be made aware about this pandemic.
