KMV organises National Seminar on The Philosophy of Hindi Literature

Jalandhar, November 8, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a one-day National Seminar on The Philosophy of Hindi Literature. The seminar was organised by the Post Graduate Department of Hindi. Prof. Ramakant Angirash, Head, Kalidas Chair, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Prof. Girishwar Mishra, Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Hindi International University, Wardha, Maharashtra were the resource person for the seminar. Prof. Ramankant Angiras addressing the gathering said that the basic premise of literature is the life vision of the author which the author derives from history, tradition and science and presents it in his works in the context of contemporary environment. It is the contemplative, ideological vision for the welfare of the environment, time, life and society that makes literature popular and meaningful. Prof. Girishwar Mishra said that the scope of modern society influenced by materialistic civilisation is very wide. It is a great challenge for modern writers and critics to understand this detail and its various aspects and to shape contemporary life philosophy and ideology. He further said that under the influence of ideologies like realism, structuralism and postmodernism, the creation of a contemporary life philosophy that is relevant to the whole of humanity and that can define Indianness, is certainly a labor and dedication. He also lauded the efforts made by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya in this direction through organising various international & national seminars. It is to be mentioned that acclaimed scholars from all over the world also attended this online event. Expressing gratitude to the eminent speakers,
