KMV organises Inter-college quiz competition on Punjabi Language, Literature and Culture

Jalandhar, March 4, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an inter college quiz competition based on Punjabi language, literature and culture. The quiz was organised by Post Graduate Department of Punjabi. Students from various colleges of Jalandhar, Kapurthala and other areas participated in this competition with full zeal and enthusiasm. The screened contestants were divided into four teams during the competition and they displayed their sharp wit and grasp of the subject while answering questions asked under different five rounds. 

The team of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya stood first in this competition, team from Hindu Girls College, Kapurthala secured the second position while the team from Doaba College, Jalandhar secured the third position. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, while honouring all the winning students with prizes, averred that such events prove to be helpful in providing proper information to the students about the subject, they are also effective in increasing the self-confidence of the students. 

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Iqbal Kaur, Head, PG Department of Punjabi, Dr. Harpreet Kaur and other faculty members for organising this successful event.
