KMV organises exposure visit to National Agri-Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali

Jalandhar, April 16, 2023: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an exposure visit to National Agri-Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali. 

At NABI, students were acquainted about their main research task of harnessing biotechnological tools in the area of agriculture biotechnology, food and nutritional biotechnology, so as to provide sustainable and novel solutions towards quality food and nutrition. Students also got an opportunity to interact with Dr. Koushik Mazumder, Scientist E and Dr. Jay Hind Nishad, Senior technical assistant and also learnt about the activities undertaken at NABI under different areas that includes Agricultural Biotechnology, Food and Nutritional Biotechnology, Human Resource Development, Meeting and Courses, and  Technology Transfer and Outreach. 

Principal Prof. Dr. AtimaSharma Dwivedi, lauded the faculty members for organising such knowledge filled educational visit for the students which give them exposure to different techniques used in manufacturing of herbal formulations.
