KMV organises 5-day workshop on upcoming trends in fashion

Jalandhar, January 28, 2015: To equip the students with upcoming trends in fashion industry and textile, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s P.G.Department of Fashion Designing inaugurated 5-day workshop on surface design and creative textiles. Distinguished textile artist, Nita Thakore was invited as a resource person. Thakore, with 35 years of experience has various collaborations with various foreign universities and Govt. projects to her credit.

The college Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma inaugurated the workshop and lauded the efforts of the Dept. of Fashion Designing for having organised a workshop to channelize the creative potential of aspiring designers, enthusiastic participation from the students to explore their creative potential is the need of the hour.
