Jalandhar, July 26, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) observed Kargil Vijay Divas in honour of the Kargil War Heroes for their courage, valour and sacrifice. The program was organised by the Department of Student Welfare & NCC.
Hailing the Indian armed forces, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi urged the teachers and students to emulate and follow the path of patriotism shown by the brave hearts of Kargil. She averred that everyone must unite against the anti- nationalist activities and make India a strong and developed nation as viewed by our martyrs. Towards the end of her address, Principal asserted that every individual in society must serve the country and stand strongly against the enemy. The students of KMV also paid a rich tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War by participating in the activities namely Poster Making & Slogan Writing.
Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Department of Student Welfare), Lt. Sufalica Kalia ANO, Ranjana and all the faculty members for organising this successful program. She also commended the students for actively participating in this program and motivated them to maintain the same zeal and enthusiasm in their future endeavours as well.
