KMV Observes Anti-Terrorism Day to promote National Harmony and Terror-free society
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NSS Unit in collaboration with KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School observed Anti-Terrorism Day in order to spread the message of peace, harmony, and national unity among the students. The programme aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of terrorism and to encourage them to promote the values of humanity, tolerance, and brotherhood.
Jalandhar, May 22, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) NSS Unit in collaboration with KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School observed Anti-Terrorism Day in order to spread the message of peace, harmony, and national unity among the students. The programme aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of terrorism and to encourage them to promote the values of humanity, tolerance, and brotherhood.
On this occasion, the students actively participated in a Poster Making Activity based on the theme of anti-terrorism and peace. The students showcased their creativity and social awareness through meaningful and thought-provoking posters carrying powerful messages against violence and terrorism. The posters highlighted the importance of unity, peace, and respect for human life. The activity witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who expressed their ideas artistically and conveyed strong messages promoting a terror-free society. The school campus reflected the spirit of patriotism and social responsibility through the vibrant display of posters prepared by the students.
Director Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, motivated the students to become responsible citizens and to contribute positively towards building a peaceful and progressive nation. She told to stand united against terrorism and to uphold the values of peace, humanity, and national integrity.
On this occasion Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Student Welfare and Head, PG Department of English), Dr. Ashima Sahni (Co-ordinator, KMV NSS Unit) and Mrs. Anand Prabha (Co-ordinator, KMV NSS Unit) were also present.
