KMV NCC Cadets Medal Haul at CATC

Jalandhar, June 30, 2015: 61 cadets of KMV NCC sub-unit participated in the Annual Training Camp of 2Pb(G) BN NCC Jalandhar.  Various competitions were held during the camp in which KMV cadets won several positions.  Sgt. Akanksha won 1st position in Rangoli, 2nd in Poster Making and also received special prize for anchoring the cultural show at the conclusion of the camp.  Sgt. Shabnam won 1st prize in solo song and the group song led by her also won 1st prize.  Giddha led by Cpt. Robinpreet & Priya won 2nd prize.  In the debate competition Sakshi Singh won the 2nd prize.  In the various sports events organized Cdt. Pooja won 1st prize in musical chairs and the KMV team also won 1st prize in Tug of War.  Cdt. Vinpreet won 3rd prize in shooting competition.  While Sgt. Shabnam won 2nd prize in Best Turnout and 3rd in individual drill.  Cdt’s Baljeet, Manpreet, Preety, Robinpreet, Shabnam won special medals for good contribution to the camp.  During the blood donation camp organized by 2Pb (G) BN NCC Cdt. Kanchan Bala, Shyna and Pooja donated blood.  Principal KMV Dr. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the Dept. of NCC for winning so many competitions during the camp and exhorted them to continue with the winning streak.
