KMV Music Vocal Teacher & student honoured with high B-grade Classical Music

Jalandhar, July 23, 2014: Anu and Ashupreet teacher and student of M.A.-II Department of Music (Vocal) brought laurels to their faculty and institution by getting high B grade in Yugal Gayan shastri Sangeet by Prasar Bharti Music Audition Board Delhi.   They are the first couple from Punjab who have been awarded this grade. Prior to this they have also been awarded the same high B grade in ‘Gurbani Sangeet’.  These sisters who have inherited here had the privilege national and international exposure on several occasions during presentation made by them in various Indian States and abroad. They give the credit of their exemplary success to their guru Dr. Ashwini Bhire Deshpande of the fame of Jaipur Atroli Gharana. 

Principal KMV Prof.Atima Sharma congratulated the two on their unprecedented success and said that music was the very soul of KMV.  It is being taught in the Vidyalaya since its inception.  All the successes in this field are links in the chain of rich tradition and customs of the Vidyalaya, of which it is proud. // jalandhar news, punjab news, india news,
