KMV marks celebration of 73rd Republic Day with flag hoisting ceremony

Jalandhar, January 26, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in continuum with the rich traditions of the yester years hoisted the National Flag to mark the celebration of 73rd Republic Day. 

The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The flag was hoisted to the chanting of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem. In her address, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this Republic Day celebration is dedicated to our brave soldiers & martyrs. 

Prof. Dwivedi exhorted everyone to remember that many valiant and precious lives had been lost during the freedom struggle & India stands strong amongst all the nations of the world committed to world peace and harmony. She also averred that every citizen should follow the path & direction given in the constitution in order to make our beloved nation more prosperous, strong and happy. She also made everyone aware about their Fundamental Rights granted to us by our constitution & also maintained that along with their rights, the citizens should also remember their duties towards their beloved motherland. It was indeed a celebration dedicated to the freedom of our beloved motherland.
