KMV inaugurates new display board in library

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has a very unique display board situated in the college library that time to time depicts the information & knowledge about the different subjects. This display board is prepared by different departments in order to provide knowledge about that subject to the students. This time PG Department of Performing Arts prepared the library display board which was inaugurated by Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi. On the display board, information regarding the  different forms of music was given. The display board also depicted the pictures of world renowned artists related to dance & music. Various musical instruments of Indian classical music & Gurmat Sangeet has also been displayed on the display board. Various models of classical dance & punjabi folk dance has also been put up on preview. The major attraction of this display board was the showcasing of various job avenues available in the field of Performing Arts. 

Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this type of innovative initiatives aids in imparting proper practical education to the students alongside books based knowledge. She lauded the efforts of Dr Poonam Sharma, Head, PG Department of Performing Arts & all the other faculty members for successfully designing the display board.
