KMV hosts “Inno Spark 2025” under YUKTI initiative of Government of India to showcase student innovations 

Jalandhar, August 25, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) P.G. Department of Physics successfully hosted "Inno Spark 2025," an Intra-Institutional Idea Presentation. The event was held under the Government of India's esteemed YUKTI Innovation Repository initiative in collaboration with KMV Anveshika. The event brought together undergraduate and postgraduate students from various departments and KMV Collegiate, providing a dynamic platform for student-led innovation. Aligning with the Ministry of Education’s mission to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the event showcased a diverse range of projects and working models that demonstrated both scientific knowledge and a keen awareness of societal and technological issues.
Standout innovations included:
 * Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) Technology Models: Projects demonstrating high-speed, secure wireless communication using light waves.
 * Water Alarm System and Rain Alarm System: Low-cost, effective devices designed to prevent water wastage and provide early weather alerts for applications like smart irrigation.
 * Mutual Inductance Demonstrations: Models illustrating the principles of wireless power transfer, a foundation for modern technologies like wireless charging.
 * Newton’s Cradle: A project that elegantly showcased the concepts of momentum and energy conservation.
 * Smart Water Dispenser: A prototype focused on improving hygiene and efficiency in water usage.
The projects were evaluated on their originality, practicality, and potential for scalability. Presenters impressed the evaluation panel with their confidence and problem-solving mindset. A special mention was also made of the KMV’s Institutions Innovation Hub that has mentored many budding innovators and has been a source of inspiration for students.  
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV remains dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where our students can think creatively and act boldly. The success of "Inno Spark 2025" assures me that our institution is at the forefront of shaping the next generation of leaders and innovators.
