KMV hostel commences new year 

Jalandhar:     The Boarders of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 College  in India by India Today Ranking (Various Categories) celebrated the festival of  Makar Sakranti by seeking divine blessings.   A Havan was also organized in the hostel to commence the new semester of the college. 

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, the faculty members and all the students participated in the Havan. Keeping with the tradition, this year also gifts and other essentials to the hostel mess staff. Madam Principal gave her best wishes to the faculty and the students for a bright, happy and prosperous New Year. 

Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi further maintained that our mission is to develop right skills, positive attitude, leadership qualities along with a sense of discipline, dedication to duty and commitment in every student for their overall personality development. In pursuit of excellence in all spheres of human activity, hostel life provides the boarders umpteen opportunities to enjoy not only a sense of togetherness but to become awakened and empowered individuals so that they may actively respond to the momentous issues of society and socio- political environment of the world. Life in KMV hostel invites the boarders to enjoy their sojourn in a home away from home in the most fruitful and truly memorable way. Dean Resident Life, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Hostel Warden Mrs. Paramjeet and Ms. Balwinder were also present on the occasion.
