KMV fosters respect for national language through Hindi Diwas celebrations

Jalandhar, September 13, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated Hindi Diwas with great zeal and enthusiasm by organising a series of competitions including Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Debate.
The celebrations aimed at highlighting the richness of Hindi language and encouraging students to express their creativity, thoughts and ideas in their mother tongue. A large number of students actively participated in these activities. Through colourful posters and catchy slogans, students showcased their deep respect and pride for Hindi. The debate competition turned out to be the highlight of the day, where participants put forth strong arguments on the importance of Hindi in contemporary society, the role of Hindi in unifying the nation, and the challenges of preserving linguistic identity in the era of globalisation.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the participants and appreciated their enthusiasm. She highlighted that Hindi is not merely a language but a bridge that connects our cultural heritage, traditions and values. She further motivated the students to continue using Hindi with pride in their daily lives, as it strengthens national unity and identity.
