KMV Examination Team Honoured for Excellence
Jalandhar, January 16, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar has many firsts to its credit. The recent inclusion is the grant of autonomy which has made KMV the first women institution to become autonomous in this part of the region. Under autonomy many examination reforms have been done. The examination team has made relentless endeavors for the smooth functioning of the examination branch, immaculate conduct of the exams and timely declaration of results. Principal Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated COE Ms. Hardeep Kaur and her team comprising Ms. Veena Deepak, Dr. Sangeeta Prashar, Mr. Munish etc. for their hard work. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi further averred that initiating a change is indeed a challenge, KMV has again made a history by adopting the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead to enrich the lives and dreams of young generation and achieving the proud status of First Women Autonomous College of Punjab. Under autonomous system in the session 2018-19 the college is running 69 programmes out of which 46 are under Continuous Evaluation System, 16 are under Credit Based Continuous Evaluation Grading System and 9 Certificate Courses. For secrecy purpose and smooth conduct of examination, the panel of examiners was selected from other colleges outside Jalandhar. The End semester examination of 1st semester was conducted under Autonomous System in November/December, 2018. The first result under this system was declared on 12th January 2019 with 100% pass percentage. Though the exams will be conducted by the college itself yet the students will get a degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
