KMV commences online classes for psychology students by Dr Robert Urban from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary

Jalandhar: Keeping its glorious tradition, an innovative series of online international classes has been successfully commenced by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya for the students of Psychology. In this appreciable venture, the students are getting a golden chance to study Health Psychology from Dr. Robert Urban, Eminent Professor from the prestigious Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary. Dr. Robert Urban will teach the psychology students for the entire session about the much needed role of Health Psychology for enhancing one’s well being. Through the current online mode of teaching, the students are learning the various prolific concepts related to counseling and health psychology. Dr. Robert Urban also discussed about the ways to implement foreign models of health psychology in the Indian context in order to understand and rectify the health issues of Indian society. He also welcomed the students with queries and also provided them various operative web links containing his video lectures and e-resources.  Having an advantage of these resourceful lectures, students of KMV have marched one step ahead even in the present times, as providing quality education has always been the prime motive of this noble institution. It is pertinent to mention that Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that Kanya Maha Vidyalaya in an international collaboration with Hungary’s top most institution- Eotvos Lorand University had signed a MOU, under which the university’s esteemed professors and diligent students have visited KMV in an exchange program in the year 2019 and 2020 as well. She further maintained that even during this unprecedented condition of pandemic, KMV strives to provide the best quality education to its students. KMV was the pioneer institution in the whole region that has  international collaborations with various renowned universities of the world. These online classes by Dr Robert Urban will also prove to be very beneficial for the overall development of the students as they will get an opportunity to interact and learn from the mentors of international calibre.
