KMV commences football training camp for students

Jalandhar, November 12, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in partnership with Footie Skill Football Academy, Jalandhar has commenced a football training camp in the college. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this special program started at the football ground of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya will prove to be helpful in teaching the techniques of football to boys and girls in the age group of 5 to 14 years. She further maintained that the techniques of the game are being explained to the players by professional football coaches in the time period from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm every day. Along with this, she averred that at present, it has become the need of the hour to make children understand the importance of sports so that they can develop their intellectual development while striving with a healthy body, as well as learn the spirit of discipline. She averred that K.M.V. have always given importance to sports along with education and the college is also providing free education and hostel accommodation to the students as well as facilities of gymnasiums and open playgrounds with state-of-the-art facilities. Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Davinder Singh and the Department of Physical Education for the successful launch of this program.
