KMV Commences 140th Academic Session with Pious Havan Ceremony
Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, Blesses New Entrants

Jalandhar, July 17, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) marked the beginning of its 140th academic session with a solemn Havan ceremony, held at the newly established KMV Technical Campus.
The ceremony was graced by Chander Mohan, President of Arya Shiksha Mandal, along with esteemed members of the KMV Managing Committee, Dr. Satpal Gupta and Dr. Deepali Luthra. Upholding KMV’s cherished traditions, the Havan was performed as per Vedic rituals in the presence of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, faculty members, and students.
Extending his blessings, Chander Mohan wished the students a bright and successful future as they embarked on a new academic journey. Congratulating the Principal and staff, he highlighted KMV’s remarkable legacy of 140 years — a legacy that harmoniously blends tradition with modern educational advancements. The inauguration of the Technical Campus, he said, stands as a testament to KMV’s progressive vision.
